Savannah in Spring | Part 1
/I don't think I've seen a more beautiful sight than Savannah in the full bloom of Spring. While traveling for a wedding in late March, we enjoyed a few days in Savannah in between work. It was refreshing and inspiring. I haven't posted much personal work here in quite a while but so I figured I'd end the hiatus! I do love shooting just for myself, creating art just for me. Going out on little adventures, exploring new places and seeing the world through my lens is good for my soul. It's refreshing creativity I can feel down to my bones. Of course traveling with the sweetest girls in the world is a bonus too! I'm so blessed to be able to take Elle with me on so many trips. She's a great little traveler...most of the time! I don't know how long that will last, so I'm savoring every moment. Being a working mom is definitely not easy. The job rarely ever turns off. The hours are crazy sometimes and everything falls back on me. It's so much more than just "taking photos and traveling" so when I actually get to do that, it's a treat! Taking people with me for the best parts of my job is such joy for me. Life isn't always what it seems from the outside. Most of my days are not glamorous at all. Running a business and having a family requires many sacrifices, which is why I'm so grateful for the support system I have in my life. The people are phenomenal and enable me to do this job, this calling. I'm incredibly grateful. Some of those people were able to come with me! Elle, Kaylie, Kellie and I had the best time exploring the beautiful corners of Savannah. Much more to come!
