Our little Easter

Easter is such a wonderful day. It couldn't come at a more beautiful time of year. Nature makes the transition from barren to blooming, just as Christ went from death to life. Everything reminds me that He makes all things new. This year we had our family celebration at our house! It was my first year making Easter dinner. I wasn't planning on doing anything, but my sister convinced me that we neeeeeded to have a real meal. I'm glad she did. It was fun to prepare everything, and it turned out pretty well. Ok, it went well minus burning my hand on super hot handle and dropping some of the roasted potatoes on the floor. I guess I'm still learning.

I also loved getting to worship beside my husband at church. He does such a phenomenal job as the worship leader for our contemporary service. Gosh, it fires me up to see him in that element. It was such a privilege to worship with our church, especially today. I hope you all had a wonderful day of celebration as well. :)

My sister is so pretty. :)

Our little family, minus Jonathan's parents

I can't get enough tulips this year. They are the perfect Spring bloom!

Mmmmmm...

I hope you all have a great start to the week! What did you guys do on Easter?
