Nicole & Jonathan | Autumn Vineyard Wedding

It was such an honor to photograph Nicole and Jonathan's beautiful Autumn wedding. I'm quickly falling for weddings during the Fall. (Maybe because it one of the only weeks during wedding season that I'm not sweating to death? Maybe...) I'm usually one to be drawn to soft and subdued tones, but this stunning Autumn wedding with bold red has converted me to a color-lover. Nicole and Jonathan planned a gorgeous day full of elegance, with just the perfect touch of rustic. Nicole looked absolutely ravishing in her fit and flare gown, complemented by her chic up-do and fabulous crystal earrings. The her lush, wild bouquet had me swooning. It complemented the bridesmaids floor-length chiffon gowns so well. Each of the girls chose their own boots to pull in a Southern feel. The venue is surrounded by a working Muscadine Vineyard, rose gardens and jasmine covered arbors. It was the most glorious backdrop for their sweet ceremony. I was so moved by their commitment to each other as the sun dipped behind the trees. After the ceremony, the party moved to a huge tent, lit with string-lights and the flicker of the candles inside lanterns. There, they created the most stunning sweetheart tablescape. The dark wood table accented by vibrant florals was just stunning. It was such an honor to capture the start of their marriage on one of the most beautiful days this Autumn! This image reminds me of all that is encapsulated in wedding vows. They are timeless promises. I think they will always make me a little teary-eyed! Although I love all the rest of the wedding day, the vows will forever remain one of my favorite parts.

Cameron & Jon | Soft Pastel Wedding

I love everything about weddings and photographing weddings, but I have to say that sharing the images might be my favorite part. There is so much excitement and anticipation wrapped up in these few frames. It just so happens that today is this gorgeous bride's birthday! I feel honored to share these images of such a special day for Cameron and Jon on her birthday!

Cameron and Jon simply fit. As I photographed them on their wedding day, I couldn't help but feel like I was almost in a fairy tale. They chose to do their first look and portraits in a beautiful field behind a barn. The moments, the light and the surroundings were so perfect. I can't help but fall in love as I take in all the beauty around me. The soft color palate for the bridal party worked so well with all their details. All their family and friends were so genuinely happy and we just had a great day together. Cameron and Jon, I feel privileged to know you! I hope you have a lifetime of joy together!
